Odemira: Two restaurants participating in contests 7 Wonders the Bureau.
Two Odemira restaurants participating, no contest “7 Wonders the Bureau”. Alentejo Coast and Celso Tasca feature “Mesas de Mar”.
The restaurants “Costa Alentejana”, in Zambujeira do Mar, and “Tasca do Celso”, in Vila Nova de Milfontes, They are nominated for the contest 7 Wonders the Bureau, which will be the theme of this year and the seventh of election 7 Wonders of Portugal.
A partnership between the two restaurants and Municipality, intended to sign the name of the Odemira 7 Wonders the Bureau, the interests in the preceding example 7 Wonders of Portugal (Wonders of Portugal, The Best Beaches in Portugal and Villages of Portugal), which have enabled the promotion of Odemirense territory in a national and international context.
Given the interest shown by restaurants Celso Tasca (Vila Nova de Milfontes) and the Alentejo coast (Zambujeira do Mar), local restoration references, the municipality of Odemira signed two “Mesas de Mar” no contest, into three categories, with Tables “Mesa boat in the Sea Zambujeira” and “Mil Sabores in Celso”.
In Category Gastronomy snacks were presented with the tide flavor, Odemira bread, fish and shellfish, and the Limousine beef. In Category Wines and Olive Oils proposals go through white wines, red wines and rosé connected to the municipality and the SW Medronho. Lastly, Routes in Category, It was nominated for Rota Vicentina with its rail Fisherman.
The two Odemira restaurants integrate a wide range of tables across the country that are being evaluated by a panel of experts and the organization's Scientific Advisory Board, in order to excel 49 tables which will pre-finalists. This list of pre-finalists and will be known next day 7 April.
The election of 7 Wonders to Mesa® promotes the true experience of eating and drinking to a Portuguese table, reason why we are increasingly becoming a tourist destination of reference. It will be valued harmony between gastronomy and wines, with the pleasure of touring the country.
The ingredients of “tables” the contest include the best that each region has to offer: his dishes, wines, bread, olive oil, cheeses, but also what can be visited as a winery or a wine press, a museum or a walking path.
