Three marches participate in the Meetings of Popular Marches that are returning to the municipality of Odemira in 2022.
After two years of interregnum, three marches in the municipality return to action with their choreographies, elaborate facts and contagious joy and present themselves in several meetings scheduled for Odemira, Knight, Boavista dos Pinheiros and São Teotónio.
The Knight's Marches, São Teotónio and Boavista dos Pinheiros present themselves to the public with the themes “The Knight returns to the Feast”, “Spring” and “Autumn”.
On 11 June, by 21.30 hours, the Riverside Zone of Odemira will host the first meeting, in an organization of the Municipality of Odemira.
On 17 June, a partir the 22.00 hours, the marches parade in Largo da Igreja in the village of Cavaleiro, organized by the Cavaleiro Sports and Cultural Center.
On 25 June, by 22.00 hours, the meeting takes place at Praça da Junta de Freguesia, in Boavista dos Pinheiros, organized by the Boavista dos Pinheiros Festival Association.
The last meeting is scheduled for the day 2 July, by 22.00 hours, in Largo do Quintalão, in Sao Teotonio, organized by the Association of Pensioners, Pensioners and Seniors of the Parish of São Teotónio.
This is already a tradition in the municipality of Odemira, which brings together hundreds of participants and a lot of public to caress and applaud the popular marches, in initiatives of the various collectivities that have the support of the Municipality.
