Odemira: Octopus Festival animates between Zambujeira do Mar 21 and 23 of September.

The 6th edition of Octopus Festival is scheduled for the days 21, 22 and 23 of September, in Zambujeira do Mar, no litoral odemirense. The best dishes and snacks to octopus base may be proven in the various Town restaurants, always with the slogan "Taste here the best octopus in the world".
The program includes daily showcookings, where you can learn and prove innovative recipes with the octopus as the main ingredient. On 21, by 17.00 hours, the showcooking will be promoted by the Fishing Dock - Ports and Auctions, S.A.
On Saturday, day 22, It will be streamlined to one showcooking 11.30 hours, Vanessa Pereira, blog author of "The spice of Nesita", and the 17.00 Chef hours by Michael Lawrence.
On 23, also to 17.00 hours, the showcooking will be presented by Rita Malvar, author of "Summer Food".
In addition to the culinary component, the festival also offers a lot of music with several shows at Largo Mira Mar and children's entertainment. Entries are free.
