Assembly of Children, Young Municipal Assembly, Sciences, sport and culture are the ingredients of Odemira School Days, that will take place in S. Teotonio, the Fair and Exhibition Park, between days 1 and 4 April, about mobilizing 1000 students from various schools of the county.
"Entrepreneurship" is the theme of this year and the goal is to challenge students to submit proposals to the county, promote interaction and sharing of experiences. The initiative is the City, under the ODETE program - Odemira Educational Territory.
The day 1 April will be dedicated to pre-school and 1st cycle. By 10.00 hours, It will be promoted the Assembly of Children, with the participation of representatives of students from all the county's schools and that will debate and present topics related to the "Entrepreneurship". The goal is to encourage children to public participation and intervention in community. During a later, the youngest will be invited to participate in sports activities, environmental education and the theme of the Conference.
Between the days 2 and 4 April, the Conference will be devoted to students of the 2nd and 3 Th cycle and secondary school. The day 2 April will be dedicated to the Experimental Sciences and Spatial, with activities at Zoomarine, Buinho Association, Life Science Center in Lagos, Teckies (robotics), PédeXumbo association and environmental education.
The Sport will fill the third day of the Conference, day 3 April, highlighting the Handball and Guidance. There will be activities Boccia (organized by APCO - Cerebral Palsy Association of Odemira), climbing wall, slide, BTT circuit and archery. By 21.00 hours, It will be presented the documentary "Who cares", which follows the lives of 19 social entrepreneurs and their projects around the world and shows how small actions can change the life of one or more persons. There will then debate, moderated by Hélder Warrior.
On the last day, Thursday, day 4 April, the theme will be Citizenship and Participation. By 10.00 hours, held the Municipal Assembly Youth, held in the framework of an extraordinary meeting of the Odemira Municipal Assembly.
