The individual is charged with eleven crimes: eight of sexual acts with teenager, one of minus subtraction, one of incitement to the use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances and one of consumption of narcotics.
Between January and September 2018, a man, then with 46 year old, residing in Vila Nova de Milfontes, county of Odemira, had sexual intercourse with a minor 14 year old, to whom I agree to leave their parents' house and for being a drug user, encouraged the girl to consume drugs or psychotropic substances.
The judgement, by Nuno C., will take place this Monday before a Panel of Judges at the Judicial Court of Beja with the sessions taking place behind closed doors, to protect the minor, who, like their mother, became assistants in the process.
According to the indictment order of the public prosecutor (MP) of Odemira to which JN had access, the individual maintained “telephone conversations/messages, convincing the minor that he was in love with her and that he would make the relationship official when it reached maturity. 16 year old, always with the intention of having sexual relations with the young woman”, justify MP.
Without parental knowledge, on at least five occasions, defendant took the minor to his home and had “vaginal sexual intercourse, full copulation, without using a condom or other means of protection against pregnancy.”, details the accusation.
The Odemira MP describes that on the day 20 September 2018, the individual “convinced the minor to run away with him and went with her to a camp”, adding that the suspect kept the minor in his company and only stopped with the intervention of the police authorities on the day 28 of the same month”, concluded.
When the GNR intervened, the individual had a cannabis plant in the backyard of his mother's house that was used for 565 individual doses. In the camp tent where he spent the night with the youngest, had in his possession 224,65 grams and 1.105 seeds of cannabis, enough for 155 individual doses. In his clothes he hid 500 euro cash.
The Public Prosecutor's Office endorsed the defendant's statements when he “wanted to make him believe that the young woman had ascended over him, he was the one who ran away with her and not the other way around.”, and also argued that “the girl was no longer a virgin, “I was experienced”. The MP recalls that the escape “took place in the early hours of the day on which the defendant had to appear in court”, concluded.
The individual requested the opening of the process instruction, arguing that there was no abuse of the minor, but otherwise, they would only constitute a continued crime, other than subtraction from the smallest, because it was she who insisted on fleeing and that the offended party had already consumed narcotic substances before living with the defendant.
The Criminal Investigation Judge of the Odemira Court found all the facts contained in the accusation as proven and pronounced him for trial., being accused of eleven crimes: eight of sexual acts with teenager, one of minus subtraction, one of incitement to the use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances and one of consumption of narcotics.
