Odemira: Show Comic until March 14th BDTECA.


The 14th edition of BDTECA - Shows Band Odemira Designed place between the months of January and March 2020, the Municipal Library José Saramago, an initiative promoted by the municipality of Odemira, in partnership with the soup Artists - Local Association of Plastic Artists.

BDTECA integrates several actions for the general public and for schools, between exposures, workshops and the 14th National Band Contest Designed Odemira, which marks the start of activities.

The initiative aims to disseminate this artistic genre among youth and adult audience, stimulate creativity and affirm Odemira as a major development centers in the region of Comics.

The exhibition "BD Strips - Safe Net" will be held in between Bibilioteca 18 January and 7 Feb.. Under the Safer Internet Day, which marks the beginning of February, is intended to alert through the BD to the dangers of the Internet - the Cyberbullying on social networks, plagiarism, data protection, etc. The exhibit is courtesy SeguraNet and will feature the School Library during the month of February.

Between 8 February and 5 March, held illustration exhibition "The Elephant's Journey", John Amaral. In the year in which the mark 20 years of the Municipal Library José Saramago and whether to honor his patron and his work, the celebrations begin with the exhibition and presentation of the picture book, "The Elephant's Journey", John Amaral, an adaptation of the homonymous work of José Saramago. The work will be presented to the public on school 21 Feb., by 10.30 hours, the Municipal Library.

Exposure BD "ComEdu: Comics for Education "will feature Secondary School Dr. Manuel Candeias Gonçalves, between days 10 February and 7 March. This results in exposure of a project that unites three countries - Estonia, Latvia and Portugal, and focuses on the use of BD as a tool for non-formal education among youth and young adults. This project is co-funded by Rota Youth and supported by the Erasmus + program and Kus! comic (Latvia).

On 6 March, by 10.00 hours, run the illustration workshop "Your website", by Daniela Viçoso, Amanda Baeza, John Duarte and Maria Carola, aimed at secondary school students. This group will streamline, the next day, a 7 March, by 14.00 hours, the workshop "Comics for people who think they know not draw", directed to the general public. Also on day 7 March, by 17.00 hours, It will open the exhibition of the works and announcement of winners of the National Band Contest Drawn. The sample will be open until day 20 March.
