Odemira: Municipality signs protocol with ULSAL.


The Municipality of Odemira and the Local Health Unit of the Alentejo Coast sign lease contracts for housing.

Inserted in housing and attractiveness policies for the municipality, the Municipality of Odemira and the Local Health Unit of the Alentejo Coast (ULSLA) signed lending contracts for the transfer of two municipal properties for the accommodation of Health Professionals who carry out their activities in the municipality.

The concern and determination of the Mayor President of the City Council, Helder Warrior, involves guaranteeing all the means and conditions to ensure healthcare in the territory, in close coordination with ULSLA.

The contracts were signed by the Mayor of the City Council, Helder Warrior, and by the President of the Board of Directors Catarina Arizmendi Filipe, in a ceremony that took place on the afternoon of 1 Feb., in the Town Hall of Odemira.

The transfer of properties, located in the village of Odemira, is carried out free of charge and free from any charges and charges, the contracts being concluded for a period of five years.

This initiative comes alongside other collaborations by the Municipality of Odemira in the area of ​​health, as is the case with financial support for the rehabilitation of the São Martinho das Amoreiras and São Luís Health Extension buildings (nearing completion), the requalification of the Savoy Health Extension, the construction of the new Health Extension in Vila Nova de Milfontes and the new Emergency Service at the Odemira Health Center (which will be launched for competition very soon).
