Odemira: County awards scholarships and merit awards.
The Municipality of Odemira allocates over 63.500 euros in scholarships and merit awards to students of the county.
The Municipality of Odemira will allocate a total of 56 scholarships for county students attending higher education and three merit awards for secondary school students in the academic year 2018/2019, not the total value of 63.558,30 euros.
The City Council approved the renewal Odemira 39 scholarships to students who have attended higher education and the allocation of 17 new scholarships. In addition to these bags, They are also awarded three prizes for merit to secondary school students, indicated by the Secondary School Dr. Manuel Candeias Gonçalves (Odemira), School of Professional and College Odemira Our Lady of Grace (Vila Nova de Milfontes).

In parallel, the allocation of merit awards under the secondary education aims to reward the work, commitment, perseverance and school excellence.
