Boosting local commerce and appealing to consumption in the municipality is the objective of the “Natal é no Comércio Local” campaign, promoted by the Municipality of Odemira in partnership with the approximately 160 merchants adherent to 13 parishes.
A draw for shopping vouchers will be held, no total value of € 5,000.00, among all consumers participating in the campaign, between days 1 December 2021 and 6 January 2022.
This campaign makes clear an appeal to consumers: “Now, more than ever, buy in local stores. Support small businesses in your locality that, day-to-day, close to you, remain open so that nothing is missing!”
As a 1st prize, a € 1,500.00 shopping voucher will be drawn., the 2nd prize will be a € 1,000.00 shopping voucher, the 3rd prize will be a € 500.00 shopping voucher. Shopping vouchers worth € 250.00 will also be raffled (4º and 5º prize), 150,00€ (6th to 10th prize), 100,00€ (11th to 15th prize) e 50,00€ (from 16th to 20th prize).
When shopping at establishments adhering to the “Natal é no Comércio Local” campaign, the customer is entitled to share passwords, and for purchases between € 10.00 and € 49.99 a password will be assigned, for purchases between € 50.00 and € 74.99 two passwords and three participation passwords will be assigned for purchases over € 75.00.
The winning passwords will be drawn on the day 14 January 2022, by 18.00 hours, the building of the Municipality of Paços.
Gift cards are another opportunity to consume in small businesses., a gift suggestion that opens up a wide range of options among establishments participating in the municipal campaign “Natal é no Comércio Local”.
With the same objective of boosting traditional trade, making it more attractive during this time and appealing to consumption in local shops, the Municipality of Odemira promotes the usual Christmas Storefronts Contest, running between day 1 December and 6 January 2022. The winner of the winning storefront will receive a € 1,000.00 shopping voucher as a prize., 2nd and 3rd classifieds receive shopping vouchers worth € 500.00, the 4th and 5th classified receive shopping vouchers worth €250.00 and the 6th to 10th classified receive baskets of local products.
