In order to ensure playful activities for the occupation of children's free time during the tender interruption of the summer months, The Municipality of Odemira promotes a wide network of holiday fields, directed to children aged among the 6 and 12 year old.
In an investment in the municipality of Odemira of about 62 thousand euros, This initiative has the support of the Parish Councils of the county in the promotion of playful activities, cultural and sports, where the holiday fields have different programs and calendars, running between July and August.
Besides the promotion of equal opportunities among children and youth in the county, The municipality and partner entities consider the promotion of non -formal education and personal development that contribute to healthy growth essential, based on social relations and citizenship values.
For the fourth consecutive year, ten vacation fields will be boosted, in an effective response throughout the territory for the occupation of children during the summer holidays. Registration is due to the respective parish councils.
