This summer are many young people in the municipality of Odemira who decided to occupy their free time in solidarity through the program “MEET YOU OJOVE”.
Editing 2025 has more than 60 participants, aged 13 and 20 year old, for volunteer actions in various localities in the county.
Volunteer young people were received on the day 30 June, in the Odemira riverside area and throughout the months of July and August will be involved in various activities and projects, as support at the Odemira Official Collection Center (Municipal kennel), Maintenance of green spaces, collaboration with the ATL and dynamization of social activities promoted in the parishes.
The project is promoted by the municipality of Odemira, with the collaboration of the parish councils of Boavista dos Pinheiros and Sabóia, TIC TAC Association, The Cerro Foundation – Culture and Teaching, Taipa - Cooperative Organization for Integrated Development and Recreational Society are Teotoniense/Creche Os Calculinhos.
The initiative is part of the Municipal Youth Program “Odemira believed Ti”, who has been affirming himself as a strategic bet on promoting active citizenship and valuing the role of young people in the community.
