Odemira: Four individuals V.N.Milfontes in preventive for drug trafficking.
Four of the six held by GNR, last Thursday, in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Odemira, They were in custody. The rest are required to periodic presentations on Guard.
The six subjects, five Portuguese and foreign, aged between 21 and 33 year old, were arrested on charges of drug trafficking, following an investigation that lasted three months.
The GNR carried out a large-scale operation, which had about 100 of the Territorial Command of Beja and the Intervention Unit and was based on seven house searches.
Various quantities and qualities of narcotics were seized, namely, exctasy (57 doses), cocaine (76 doses), hashish (302 doses) and cannabis (40 doses e 285 seeds).
The GNR also picked up firearms (3) and ammunition and melee weapons (3), firecrackers (4), caps, laser light signals, 20 mobile phones, 2800 euros in cash and a high-capacity car.
One of the individuals in the group is a former firefighter of the Volunteers of Vila Nova de Milfontes who had been dismissed from the corporation due to inappropriate behavior for the role..
The group was heard at the Odemira Court during the days of Friday and Saturday, and the four individuals to whom the preventive detention coercive measure was applied, were taken yesterday at the end of the afternoon to the Prison of Beja.
