Odemira: Rota Vicentina presents new route mountain bike with 1.200 km on rails.


The Rota Vicentina is developing a network 1.200 km mountain bike tracks, mostly implemented in Odemira.

To gather input and present the project, They are scheduled five sessions public in the territory Odemirense.

The new Route MTB will have presentation sessions in Odemira (day 10 April, by 18.00 hours, the Municipal Library), S. Teotonio (day 12 April, pelas18.00 hours, the Parish Council), Santa Clara-a-Velha (day 13 April, by 19.00 hours, the Parish Council), in Colos (day 19 April, by 18.00 hours, the Board of Ballroom) and S. Luís (day 20 April, by 20.30 hours, the Parish Council).

This project is co-financed under the Alentejo 2020 and developed in partnership with the Municipality of Odemira.

The Rota Vicentina is a walking path that currently has 450 km (which will 720 km by the end of 2018), between Santiago do Cacém and Sagres, created with the objective of internationalizing the southwest coast as a nature tourism destination, two options: History and the Path Rail Fisherman.

A logic of extending the offer and streamline the territories, They have been created new circular or connection paths to the main routes.
