Fish and Seafood are the kings of the festivities at the Gastronomic Week which is taking place in the municipality of Odemira until 9 July, with the participation of several restaurants with the objective of promoting two of the best flavors of the odemirense coast.
The proposals are varied in different ways of making shellfish and fish from the coast, from dogfish broth, Seafood bean stew, fried tongue, seafood soup, fish pasta, Stew, rice or cataplana.
The various dishes in which fish and seafood are the main ingredients can be tasted on the menus of Porto das Barcas restaurants, Tasca do Celso, Wine cellar 22, StressFree and Oasis Restaurant (in Vila Nova de Milfontes), flavors and sea (Almograve), O Tarro and O Escondidinho do Poço (in Odemira), seafood restaurant “the chimney” (Brejão), Rocamar (Knight), Costa Alentejana, Sol Dourado and Taberna Ti Vitória (in Zambujeira do Mar).
The Gastronomic Weeks are an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Odemira that aims to promote local products and their potential in the most different gastronomic confections, with suggestions of local restaurants.
