Odemira: “Sounds & Flavors”, runs through county 5 de novembro a 21 January.
"Sonorities & Flavors ", the traditional music script and gastronomy of Odemira, is back, and this edition will happen in six times, on days 5 and 19 November, 3 and 17 December and 7 and 21 January.
As in previous years, back to throw the challenge to prove the best snacks of the region and hear singing the jolt, purple campaniça, accordionists, folk poets and traditional music groups.
The first stage will take place on 5 November, in Taberna Ti Judith, Castellan, the S Parish. LuĂs. On 19 November, the sounds will take place at CafĂ© Angelo, Cortes Pereiras, in Santa Clara Parish.
On 3 December will be visited the Tavern of Taliscas, in Luzianes-Gare Parish, IS in the day 17 December will be in Eira da Alagoa Restaurant, in Colos.
The last moments of this traditional cuisine and music script will take place on 7 January, at Café Porphyry, Vale Iron, in the Parish of Relics, IS in the day 21 January, Nave in the House, Nave Redonda, Savoy Town.
In the six days of the script "sonorities & Flavors ", Music will fill the spaces from 15.30 hours, with corner to jolt accompanied by viola Campaniça. A partir das 18.00 hours, will be given space to popular poets and accordionists in the region. A partir das 20.00 hours and to give music the night away, the guests this year will be the group "The wake", “Duo Sax – Bruno & Lara”, "Atar and Put to Fumeiro", “Maria do Alto Mira”, and one of the nights will be filled with fado.
In component gastronomic, snacks proving to be the woodpecker, Ear salad, of cod and octopus, entremeada of coentrada, moelas, nob, sausages and cheeses. Main dishes, the menus will vary between cooked cabbage, feijoada to Alentejo, chickpea stew, chicken giblets, tomato soups, lamb stew or octopus Lagareiro.
This initiative is promoted by the Association for the Development of Amoreiras-Gare and the Municipality of Odemira, with the aim of promoting culture and local cuisine. This year, the initiative has the support of Laps Parish, Luzianes-Gare, relic, Savoy, S. LuĂs, Santa Clara-a-Velha e S. Martin Amoreiras.
