The school community in the municipality of Odemira joined forces and scheduled for the day 24 February 2023.
From 4 pm, a demonstration/vigil under the motto “United Community for Education”, in Garden Sousa Prado, in Odemira.
Starting at 5:30 pm, there will be a parade through the streets of Odemira and a human cordon will be made on the Pedestrian Bridge over the Mira River to unite the two banks.
The parade will end at the Municipal Library of Odemira where a new vigil will be held to coincide with the beginning of the meeting of the Municipal Assembly of Odemira.
In the session of the Municipal Assembly, a manifesto/petition will be delivered containing the main concerns felt by the school community in Odemir.
The community that convened the vigil stresses that "this is an initiative independent of any trade union organization".
