Ourique: Autarchy presents urban requalification works of the historical center.


Once approved the project financing with EU funds and obtaining Constas Court's seen for a bank loan in the medium to long term, the municipality of Ourique performs the public presentation of the Redevelopment Work of Urban History Center.

The public presentation will take place on Thursday, 12 January 2017, by 18:30 hours, in the auditorium of the Municipal Library Jorge Sampaio, in Ourique.

The project to be carried out in four phases to the achievement of Community funding, always integrated in the restoration effort of the municipality's accounts, will include an early intervention in the area of ​​the historic center of Ourique Village, in D Streets. Manuel I, D. Afonso Henriques, Gago Coutinho, Sacadura Cabral,the City and the Square D Square. Dinis, reflecting the municipal commitment to the development of the area in the county seat and the remaining parishes.

This intervention Ourique Municipality contemplates the execution of water supply infrastructure in low, sewage infrastructure, electrical infrastructure and telecommunications, and Urban Arrangement of Ourique History Center, in the Parish of Ourique.

Community funding does not cover the activities related to the network of water and sanitation, so these will be materialized based on their own financial resources of the municipality, only possible with the trajectory of recovery since then 2005 when the municipal debt amounted to about 22 million.

The presentation session of urban requalification works of the historical center will feature the intervention of the Mayor of Ourique, Marcelo Guerreiro, an explanatory intervention by the architects responsible for the design and space questions and answers about the profile of the works, the timetable and the changes that need to be adopted during the implementation of the project.

Forty years after the first free elections for Local Authorities, the Municípiosentraram a stage that will be marked by the answers to the people, the maintenance of infrastructure, by urban regeneration and recovery of public space.
