Ourique Firefighters received a new command vehicle in an investment of 60 thousand euros, 40 thousand of which are reimbursed.
The acquisition of this vehicle was supported by the Municipality of 20.000 euros, from the company Somincor, located in the neighboring municipality of Castro Verde, also 20.000 euros and the rest 20 thousand euros came from the institution itself.
On social media, the Humanitarian Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ourique, highlighted the import of the acquisition, noting that “today we have one of the best equipped and most operational corporations in the south of the country as a result of joint work and partnership”, adding that “once again, here is proof that with partnerships you can go further and achieve your goals”, thanking the Municipality of Ourique and Somincor “for helping us with another project”, justified.
The corporation has an Active Body of 61 elements, supported by 29 vehicles, and 16 health service, of which 5 they are emergency ambulances, 2 vehicles with extrication material, 8 fire fighting vehicles, and 2 intended for urban fires, 3 to rural fires and 3 fire support tanks and water supply, 2 of general services and 3 command vehicles
