Expensive Soul will be the headliners on the night of 23 March (Saturday). A 22 March (Friday) Nuno Ribeiro acts, while in the day 24 (Sunday) Cláudia Martins takes to the stage & Naughty Minhotos.
Promoted by the Municipality of Ourique and the Alentejano Pig Breeders Association (ACPA), the 16th edition of the Alentejano Pork Fair will take place between the days 22 and 24 March.
The Alentejano Pork Fair is an unavoidable mark of rural identity, two knowledges, flavors, art and mastery of the men and women who work the fruit of the earth. In 2024, the XVI edition of the biggest event in Ourique is the result of the valorization of the Alentejo pig sector. This event is already part of the regional and national panorama as a moment of affirmation of the Rural World and Ourique.
This initiative is an encounter with gastronomy, the tradition, a cultura, the musical entertainment and a unique spirit of a party that brings thousands of people from the region and the country to Ourique.
Expensive Soul came together in 1999, in Leça da Palmeira, in the municipality of Matosinhos, but the band's first album, “B.I.”, would only be edited in 2004. “Alma Cara” followed (2006), “Utopia” (2010), "Dreamer" (2014) and “The Art of the Muses” (2019).
Nuno Ribeiro is an unmistakable voice of Portuguese music, sum of the songs released since 2018: eight Gold Singles and three Platinum. Great songs like “Dias Cinzentos”, “Longe”, "Too late", “Beyond 8”, “Por Ti” with the participation of Spanish singer Ainoa Buitrago or “Nas Ondas do Mar” with Brazilian artist Nick Cruz.
Cláudia Martins is a popular Portuguese singer. She is the author and performer of her songs, and is known for the strays. Started playing the concertina, with 8 year old, becoming the youngest singer to take on the challenge. In 2009, created the musical project “Minhotos Marotos”. The name was born from the fusion of two essential aspects: first as a tribute to the region where it was born and, on the other hand, the double meaning of the words that make up his songs.
