Ourique: During the month of June, There “Party in the Village”.
In the month of popular saints, the Ourique Municipality organizes a set of weekly parties in which the protagonist is the marches, the sing, dance and fado, cultural expressions with strong support of the people.
It is a set of cultural and musical entertainment initiatives which by their nature contribute to give more color to the land and dynamism to the local trade Ourique Village, integrating in the global effort of the municipality in the valuation of public space and the availability of cultural and leisure offer the entire municipality.
During every Friday June, the programming of Parties in the village will be the following:
7 June- The Party is the Sing: 20h00 РMusical animation РPhilomena Raposo, 21h30 РWith sing wheel: Master Pedro, Jos̩ Malveiro, Jorge San Pedro, Duarte Farias and Mast Ball, in Largo with the Gourmet Shop.
15 June- The party is dance: 20h00 – Musical entertainment with Philomena Raposo, 21h30 – Ourique Dance Schools, Almodovar and Castro Verde, in Piazza Padre António Pereira. Mast Ball, in Largo with the Gourmet Shop.
22 June- The party is the Fado: 20h00- Musical animation – Elisha Brás, 21h30 – singers : Maria dos Santos and Ana Valadas, Viola : Edgar Baleizão and Portuguese Guitar: Tó Rui and Mast Ball in Largo with the Gourmet Shop.
29 June- The Party is the Marches: 20h00- Musical animation – Philomena Raposo, Alice Oliveira and Jorge Batista, 21h30 – marches Invited – Beata up (Messejana), of Almodovar, de S. Clement and the March of Ourique Village “Ourique sun from Earth”, in Piazza Padre António Pereira. Masto Ball, in Largo with the Gourmet Shop.
The Municipality of Ourique continues to implement policies focused on local people, the enhancement of the region and in the affirmation of Ourique and its rural world.
