Ourique: Fair Alentejo Pig 2020 it takes-is of 27 a 29 March.
The Municipality of Ourique announces the completion of editing 2020 the Alentejo Pig Fair to 27, 28 and 29 March, in another partnership with the Alentejo Pig Breeders Association.
The Fair of the Alentejo Pig assumed over the years as a showcase of excellence of this agri-food row, a high point of the projection of our rural world and a time of great contention Ourique and Ouriquenses.
The event has long surpassed the frontiers of Ourique and the Lower Alentejo region, mobilizes every year thousands of visitors who attend and participate in spectacles, in pubs, in competitions, in conversations, in showcookings and the dining experiences on offer.
The rural world is part of the identity of the Lower Alentejo and an important pillar of economic affirmation of territories, with increasing relevance in resilience to negative dynamics affecting the territories of the Interior.
There is much that the Municipality of Ourique puts the row of Alentejo pigs and the rural world of the identity reaffirmation factors, of boosting the local economy and attract visitors to the county.
In 2020, are back traditions, the potential, the experiences and challenges of those working in the field and on farms with a sense of memory, present and building a future for our land.
Once again, the Municipality of Ourique has the mobilization and contribution of the local community to design our land as rural quality of life, differentiated and competitive.
