The Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, will be in Ourique, next Tuesday, 3 May, at 2:30 pm to preside over the Inauguration Ceremony of Lar D. Dinis.
The institution is owned by CERCICOA – Cooperative for Education and Rehabilitation of Disadapted Children and Social Solidarity of Almodôvar, Castro Verde, Ourique, CRL, and was built in Ourique, in a partnership with the Municipality that represented a global investment of 196.735,99 euros with VAT included.
The project was promoted by the Municipality of Ourique in partnership with CERCICOA, I have been co-financed to 85% by FEDER/PO Alentejo.
The Home has 20 vacancies for people with disabilities, CERCICOA is responsible for managing the equipment, as an entity with competence for the development of social response valences.
This is yet another response to the deficit situation of this type of offers in the region, that results from the convergence of wills and resources, in a territory punctuated by low population density, population aging and dispersion of housing units.
After adapting an infrastructure in Grandaços, the Municipality of Ourique is once again a partner for this new space in order to generate responses within the framework of an inclusive society for all.
