Ourique: Monchique is invited municipality of Alentejo Pig Fair.
After Melgaço, Portel and Almeirim, Fair Pig Alentejo welcome the participation of the Municipality of Monchique.
The XIII Edition of Alentejo Pig Fair will be held from 22 a 24 March 2019, It will be a moment of affirmation of the work done by producers, by breeders and farmers of the region and Ourique.
This moment of affirmation of the rural world, which integrates technical events, economic, cultural, Hospitality and leisure, will have, once again the participation of a guest Municipality.
After Melgaço, Portel and Almeirim, the event welcome the participation of the Municipality of Monchique.
The Alentejo and the Algarve Interior contribute to underline the relevance of the pig in their local economies, the importance of the potential of rural areas and the ambition to give more future for their territory, located within the country.

The Municipality of Ourique in conjunction with the ACPA ? Alentejo Pig Breeders Association, in PACOOP – Cooperative Alentejo Pork Producers and Other Livestock Species and the local community, It has sought to combine the traditions with innovative brands in areas such as agri-food production, regional products, gastronomy, leisure and identity as citizens of Alentejo.
