Ourique City Council will move forward with the repaving of several streets in the Union of Parishes of Panóias and Conceição, an investment 123.762,00 euros, plus VAT at the legal rate, and the execution period is 60 days.
The project to be carried out, from next monday, 23 October, consists of the bituminous concrete repaving of several streets in the localities of Panóias and Conceição. The set of interventions covers roads with a total of 9.532 m2 of area under repaving.
In Panoias, The total area to be paved is 4760 m2, covering the streets of Poço, da Padaria and Largo do Campo. Already in Conceição, The total area to be paved is 4832 m2, covering the perpendicular to Rua da Ladeira, access and Largo da Igreja, a Rua Eng. José Guerreiro de Brito, Rua da Quinta do Valadão, Rua da Fonte, Ourique Street, o Largo de Dona Teresa, Rua das Eiras, Rua do Saco and Rua Jacinto Nobre.
The repaving focuses on a set of selected streets that required more urgent interventions, due to the state of greater degradation. The project that is now beginning is part of a set of interventions that the Municipality has planned and has been implementing, with the aim of strengthening mobility and security conditions, for pedestrians, motorists and local residents.
Combined with other investments in terms of communication routes that the Municipality is working to implement in the current mandate, “this is an intervention with an important impact on the global strategy of reinforcing local attractiveness and the quality of life of populations”.
Taking into account any inconvenience caused by ongoing interventions, the Municipality “calls for the understanding of residents and users of the streets affected by possible disruptions caused by ongoing interventions and highlights the commitment to minimizing possible impacts”.
