The Municipality of Ourique opens tomorrow, Tuesday, 16 April, 18h00, the Playful-Pedagogical Workshop for children and young people, an investment 558 thousand euros.
This structure will create better conditions for the educational development of the youngest and, simultaneously, supports families.
This family support response plays a preponderant role in reconciling family life with professional life for many parents who thus have access to an occupation response to leave their children while they are working..
Furthermore, the new municipal space will be equipment to support study and therapeutic and social intervention, where the municipality will provide teachers and technicians to work with children and young people in managing school activities and family management, according to playful and pedagogical methodologies.
For this purpose, the Municipality rehabilitated and equipped a building, of your property, located on Rua Eng. Duarte Pacheco in Ourique, for the installation of this space. The Playful-Pedagogical Workshop for children and young people will be a collective family support facility that will function as a space for activities and study support, in addition to school activity periods and schedules.
The equipment for the youngest children is called the Playful-Pedagogical Workshop and will serve approximately 180 preschool and 1st cycle students. The new equipment will be equipped with a computer room, a school library, a science laboratory and a room for multi-pedagogical activities – functioning as a space for activities and study support, after school activity periods and times.
