The Municipality of Ourique has open registration for the traditional Senior Walk of São Martinho, which this year will be destined for the city of Moura.
"This year, São Martinho is in our Baixo Alentejoâ€, reveals in a statement the municipality of Ourique. The Passeio de São Martinho for the Senior Population of the municipality is justified by the Municipality “a reference in the set of municipal activities oriented to the Ouriquenses with greater experience of lifeâ€., will take place on the day 11 November, with a trip to the City of Mouraâ€.
The program provides for the departure of parishes in the usual places, by 7:45 hours, and the departure of Ourique by the 8 in the morning, to fulfill the visits to the Castle of Moura, to the Alberto Godinho Contemporary Jewelery Museum, to Mouraria, to the Moura Archaeological Exhibition and to the Dr.. Santiago, concluding with a convivial lunch with musical entertainment, which will not lack the traditional magusto.
Entries can be made until the day 2 November, at the Municipal Social Welfare Office or at the Parish Councils of the respective areas of residence, having a cost of 25 euros per person all inclusive.
The municipality of Ourique, justifies that “in conjunction with the Parishes and the Social Sector, continues to work to generate moments for active aging, with social interaction and quality of life. The São Martinho Senior Walk is part of the wide range of social support, initiatives and events aimed at women and men who throughout their lives have given a lot to our lands, to its dynamics and to the identity of our rural communityâ€, ends.
