Ourique: Holy House of Mercy inaugurates building of day care and pre-school.
The Santa Casa da Misericordia de Ourique, opens today, by 11,30 hours, the building of the Nursery and Preschool, named after the benefactor's name Carlos Manuel Castro and Nunes, in Ourique.
The opening has the presence of the Board of Management member of the Queen Dona Leonor Fund, Inez Dentinho, the representative of the Portuguese Mercies Union, Aurelino Ramalho; President of the Municipality of Ourique, Marcelo Guerreiro; and director of the Central District of Beja Social Security, Sergio Fernandes.
This initiative represents an investment of Santa Casa da Misericordia de Ourique (SCMO) of about 427 thousand euros. The occasion will, equally, to honor Carlos Manuel Castro and Nunes, benefactor of SCMO. Your name must appear on the new space opened.
These works ensure better quality of services provided to children attending the institution, promoting the well-being and facilitating the development and learning of children.
The SCMO celebrated the signing of a financing agreement, a 13 July 2016, with the Queen Dona Leonor Fund (FDRL), Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa. this funding, no value 180.378,68 euros, It helped finalize the rehabilitation of child support building.
