Ourique: Gastronomic week of the 14 a 21 Feb..


It is the return of the initiative with new flavors and experiences to discover the authentic flavor of the Medronho one of the municipality's emblematic products.

Twelve establishments in the county accepted the challenge of turning the fruit into an ingredient of election, giving way to snacks entrances, DISHES AND DETERMITS.

After the success of the first edition, The Municipality of Ourique again promotes the gastronomic week, as a contribution to stimulating the municipality’s gastronomy, preserving one of its most important fruits, the arbutus.

Tradition and Innovation at the Bureau

With Alentejo pork meat, in an aromatic stew, in an engaging sauce, in a sweet tempting or even surprising harmonization, The gastronomic week of the bowl is a perfect opportunity to try new way to taste Ourique.

The bowl, that has been part of local identity for centuries, now reveals all its gastronomic potential, raising the traditional flavors of the region to new sensory experiences.

The 12 participating establishments, Each one presents a unique proposal to surprise the visitors and connoisseurs of the Medronho.
