The organization of the 40th Ovibeja already has the Fair Secretariat fully functioning for contact and interaction with all potential interested parties in the commemorative edition of the 40 years of the event.
The 40th Ovibeja will take place 30 from April to 05 May and defined Associativism as its main theme, engine of working together with the aim of enhancing results, share means, challenges and knowledge.
At a time when the agricultural sector most needs a committed approach to safeguarding biodiversity and sustainability, business and rural, It is important to reflect on the role of associations as the voice of production agents, agricultural and forestry transformation and marketing. The Ovibeja, organized by a farmers' association – ACOS – has had, throughout its various editions, a decisive role in starting works or unlocking government decisions regarding the agricultural sector in Alentejo. It is this driving force of Ovibeja that distinguishes it and makes it attractive for visits by government officials, precisely enhancing all the factors in the presence, ambassadors, responsible for international entities, national and local. What makes it competitive for sale, product presentation and launch, brands or projects by its exhibitors. That makes it seductive for all its visitors, be children, young, students, Professional, families, seniors, groups of friends.
Realized in 10 hectares equipped with pavilions and green and leisure spaces, Ovibeja offers, in addition to the products and services of more than a thousand exhibitors, next to 15 themed spaces, 4 auditoriums for conferences, conferences and workshops, 350 animals on display at the Livestock Pavilion, 11 restaurants, 43 bars and kiosks, 5 big concerts, next to 500 singers at the great singing meeting, which also celebrates this year the 10 years of classification of Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The event receives over one hundred thousand visitors annually, more than 14 thousand visits from school groups and other institutions, more than two dozen international delegations. It is an event that combines work and leisure, Business, music, meeting and reunion with friends.
