Ovibeja: Diversity touches universes from UB40 to Children of the Earth.


There is a lot of expectation regarding the commemorative edition of the 40th ovibeja, because there are many reasons for a family visit, between friends, at work, or from you to yourself, between 30 from April to 5 May.

Being an agricultural fair it is also an eclectic event, of great boldness and innovation, which makes it unique in the panorama of national events.

With a very ambitious concert lineup, which brings UB40 to Portugal just for the 40th Ovibeja concert, it will be the stage for a large number of fans from north to south of Portugal.

In addition to the legendary English reggae band, Ovibeja also features big names in Portuguese music, such as Calema, Ana Moura, The Lucky Duckies and Buba Espinho from Bejão.

as a novelty, This year's edition of Ovibeja will also have the Filhos da Terra stage, which will bring music closer to visitors between 6pm and 9pm, at the Cante Pavilion, close to bars and restaurants. Late afternoon musical moments with Cantadores do Alentejo, Zeca Serrano and Fernando Pardal, Sing Bandits, Eduardo Espinho and guests. The day 2 is dedicated especially to the Children of the Earth with some surprises.

On Saturday, day 4 a unique moment will still happen in Ovibeja: The celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Cante Alentejano designated as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, with the performance in unison of thousands of singers. Throughout every day of the fair, there will also be countless activities for all tastes and all ages..

Taking into account the great diversity and quality of the events in this commemorative edition, the Ovibeja organization has already sold many tickets, a modality that avoids, on the same day, waiting lines at the entrance to the fair. Visitors who wish to do so can purchase tickets online in advance at the usual locations, well words, CTT, FNAC or on the Ovibeja website.

Parking areas near the fair will also be reinforced. In addition to the Car Park at the entrance to the event, there is also an alternative park at the Flávio dos Santos Stadium, with guidance signs at the city's main roundabouts. Support staff will be reinforced to guide the traffic confluence near the fair.
