The Minister of Agriculture opens the fair tomorrow, only at 15,00 hours. The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will visit Ovibeja on the 24 (Sunday), at 15:00, as revealed by the organization.
The official opening will take place at 15:00, by the Minister of Agriculture, Maria do CĂ©u Antunes who, for scheduling reasons, was forced to change the previously announced time. The 38th Ovibeja opens to the public tomorrow from 11 am. The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will visit Ovibeja on the 24 (Sunday), at 15:00.
The course of 21 a 25 April, the 38th Ovibeja will count, with the visit of several members of the Government and representatives of political parties, as well as the Diplomatic Corps.
The Ovibeja, held in approx. 10 infrastructured and wooded hectares, with themed pavilions, the Fairs and Exhibition Center Beja, Manuel de Castro e Brito, welcomes the participation of more than a thousand exhibitors.
In addition to exhibitors from the most diverse sectors of activity, with great emphasis on agri-food products, the event also includes contests, cattle shows, equestrian demonstrations, trade, sporting events, corporate and institutional exhibitions. Of great importance are also the various colloquia on current issues, which includes the main theme of the fair “How to Feed the Planet?", debated by the organizers of the event and by several other entities that also put this reflection on the table.
One of the great attractions of Ovibeja is its vast cultural program with shows and concerts., where the famous “ovinoites” stand out, attracting thousands of young people to the fairgrounds. A 21 the Air Force Music Band, Tunas and DJ Christian F. A 22 the stage is by Blaya and DJ Rob Willow. A 23 April the spotlight goes to Pedro Abrunhosa, followed by DJ Ana Isabel Arroja. The last night of Ovibeja is given to Paula Fernandes and DJ Nuno Luz.
