Ovibeja: Prime Minister speaks in Beja about reconciliation with farmers.


The Prime Minister was in Beja today at the inauguration of the edition of 40 years of Ovibeja, where he stated that it is the “conciliation between the Government of the Republic and Ovibeja and farmers”, a criticism of the fact that the previous Executive was not present at last year's event.

Luís Montenegro justified that “It is an imperative of the country, regardless of the different opinions, there are excellent relations between all Portuguese, private em not agricultural sector ” concluded.

Regarding Ovibeja, the Government leader maintained that “presented and outlined new paths for agriculture in Portugal”. About the connection between the Ministries of Agriculture and the Environment, the Prime Minister highlighted that “the two ministers came from the European Parliament, where they worked together and here they will do the same to give joint prominence to the agricultural sector” justifying that forests were once again integrated into the Ministry of Agriculture.

“It is necessary to add more political weight to this ministry and create a greater connection and relationship with farmers”, finished Luís Montenegro.
