PCP: Deputy João Dias, visit archeology works at Beja Hostel.

João Dias, PCP deputy, elected by the Electoral Circle Beja, yesterday visited the works at Beja Hostel that led to the discovery of part of the old city.

The project's main objective is to open a museum, a space that everyone can visit, thus valuing the said unit, but mainly the city and the entire region of Beja.

According to a note from the PCP, “it was possible to identify the need for greater involvement of regional entities, which can also be involved in promoting the findings, as well as the Bejense heritage”.

The communists justify that “opportunities like this cannot be wasted for the significant impact that archeology has, not only in the local economy, as regional and national.
