Was approved, unanimously, at the last Chamber meeting, of 18 November, the Architecture Project of the Póvoa de São Miguel Medical Center.
Responding to the request of the Póvoa de São Miguel Parish Council, technicians from the Municipality of Moura developed the architecture project, which aims to adapt the Post Office building to the new facilities of the Medical Post of that parish in the municipality.
Changes to existing compartments have been proposed to comply with legislation on safety standards, hygiene and health, improving accessibility for people with reduced mobility and implementing a fire safety system.
The project defines three distinct functional areas namely service and waiting, medical offices and sanitary facilities. A ramp to the public road is also planned for access to wheelchair users.
The work has an execution period of six months, estimated as a cost estimate of approximately € 41,000.00.
