Civil protection: ANPC warns of situations of attempted scams.
The National Authority for Civil Protection (ANPC) warns citizens in the event that can be approached by strangers, acting in bad faith and pretending to be by members of the civil protection.
Individuals, second ANPC, seek to circumvent the guard, making them believe in the existence of fines on their behalf due for breach of legal obligations to clean the forest land which they own.
The ANPC is aware of a situation occurred in Viana do Castelo district, where the scammer in question required a citizen so that it made payment of the amount of a fine, for a given NIB, by the end of the same day, failing that double.
Face it happened, ANPC informs the public that the civil protection services do not proceed to the collection of fines for breach of legal obligations to clean the forest land, it is recommended that any attempt in this direction is immediately participated to the police.
