Against the increase in the cost of living, the “Sempre os Meus a Pagar-Beja” Movement promotes a protest action on Saturday morning in four locations.
The “Sempre os Meus a Pagar-Beja” Movement will hold a new protest action next Saturday, day 14 January, with populations and small traders, in some towns and cities in our District: 9h30 in the village of Aljustrel, 10h00 in the cities of Beja and Serpa and 10:30 in the village of Ferreira do Alentejo.
The purpose of carrying out this initiative according to the Movement “is about mobilizing and sensitizing the populations of Beja, Ferreira do Alentejo, Aljustrel and Serpa, against the course of impoverishment that is being set as a result of
rising cost of living and wage devaluation, pensions and reforms”.
The “Sempre os Jovens a Pagar-Beja” maintains that “we are not condemned to this course and that's why, we will streamline this protest action for the reversal of this policy by raising wages, pensions and reforms, by regulating the prices of essential goods and services”.
