Today the National Policy Committee (CPN) PSD approved a new set of applications for local elections 2017.
According to PSD page, excepting 15 municipalities, that are missing, the party is meeting the local government calendar set in the National Council, which established the month of March for approval of applications.
To be considered are still the 30 municipalities of the Azores and Madeira, to reach the National Political Commission for ratification during the month of April.
The PSD has 99 Coalitions with the CDS-PP closed. And it's available to increase this number to about 140 coalitions with centrist.
The PSD is, so, the most advanced party in the process of preparing for the electoral challenge that will result in a new municipal cycle.
