Two Commissioners and a Deputy Commissioner assigned to the District Command of Beja of the Public Security Police (PSP) were yesterday promoted to the next post.
According to the orders published in the Diário da República signed by the Deputy National Director /UORH, Commissioners Nuno Russo and Paulo Graça were promoted to the post of Subintendent and to the post of Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner Carlos Carvalho, all assigned to the PSP District Command of Beja.
Nuno Russo is the Head of the Support Area, Paulo Graça is the Head of the Operational Area and Carlos Carvalho is the Commander of the Police Intervention and Inspection Squadron (EIFP) and by accumulation commands the Airport Security Squadron. The promotions of the three officers require final approval and acceptance by the officers themselves..
The District Command of Beja of the PSP is commanded since 2 February 2017 by Superintendent Raul Glória Dias, when it transited the District Command Évora, having been reappointed for another three years, in February 2020. Second commander is Intendant João Carlos da Silva Martins, who arrived in Beja from Funchal and was sworn in on the 17 September 2019, it's been three years tomorrow.
