Portugal will set clocks back one hour on Sunday morning, starting winter time, according to the indication of the Astronomical Observatory of Lisbon (OAL).
Early Sunday morning (31 October) in mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Region of Madeira, to 2 hours the clocks must be set back 60 minutes, going to 1 hour. In the Azores, the change will be made to 1 hours of Sunday morning, going to 0 hours.
The official time will return after the change 27 March 2022, marcando a mudança para o regime de verão.
The current time of regime change is governed by a policy (Community law) of 2000, which provides that every year the clocks are, respectively, early and back an hour on the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday in October, marking the beginning and end of daylight saving time.
