Savoy: 1º Festival in Arbutus FACES, fair of local activities.
Between Friday and Sunday, the interior of the Odemira municipality will be in party with another edition of FACES - Fair of Cultural and Economic Activities of Savoy and this year includes the 1st Arbutus Festival.
The 1st Arbutus Festival will take place simultaneously with the FACES program, with a space dedicated to producers and associated activities.
During the three days there will be several animation activities, demonstration and tasting of products related to the arbutus. On 13 August, by 15.00 hours, held a debate on the arbutus, by-products, production and marketing.
As in previous editions SIDED will feature dozens of exhibitors from various economic activities and a strong craft component, with many artisans working live.
It will also be a space where there will be emphasis on gastronomy, animation, sport and entertainment, with numerous musical shows, with special emphasis on traditional music. The official opening is scheduled for Saturday, day 13 August, by 18.00 hours.
The organization FACES belongs to D Humanitarian Association. Ana Pacheco of Savoy, in partnership with Fabriqueira Commission of the Parish Church of Savoy, Savoy Athletic Club, Municipality of Odemira, Savoy Parish Council, Basic School 2nd and 3rd Savoy Cycle, National Guard and local population.
