Savoy / Odemira: School Days challenge students.


About a thousand students from the various schools in the municipality of Odemira will participate, between days 31 March and 3 April, in school days, promoted by the municipality of Odemira at the Saboia Basic School, under the ODETE program - Odemira Educational Territory, with the objective of promoting citizenship and participation.

For a week, Children and young people are challenged to participate in various cultural activities, sports and experimental, Games and workshops directed at various levels of education, from preschool to secondary and professional. In the course of the journeys, Students from the various school groups will paint a panel installed in the school venue.

The first day of school hours will be dedicated to students of the 3rd cycle and secondary education, who can ask questions or present recommendations to municipal deputies in the Municipal Assembly, held under an extraordinary meeting of the Municipal Assembly of Odemira, with the objective of promoting civic participation and promoting the construction of a more active citizenship.

In editing 2025, The students of basic education will be able to present and discuss ideas in the Assembly of Children, on 2 April, initiative in one that encourages children for public participation and community intervention. Students from all schools in the county are motivated to defend the topics that share most relevant together with the President of the Municipal Assembly, Ana Aleixo, and the city councilwoman responsible for the area of ​​education, Isabel Palma.
