Security: Twenty-five radars come into operation 6 July.


More 25 radars, three in the district of Beja, of the National Speed ​​Control System (SYNC) will start operating from July 6th.

Of these, 14 are of instantaneous speed (WE) and 11 medium speed (VM). No total, the system has 123 speed control locations.

New ones 25 radars began to be signaled this Tuesday, but they will be operational at the end of next week.

Radar sawed with an angle grinder

Strangers destroyed the speed radar installed on the EN260, installed at KM 13,4 from the road that connects Beja to Serpa, next to Baleizão, during the dawn of 329 January this year.
This radar had been installed in September, and was the target of shotgun fire, was cut close to the base using tools, allegedly an angle grinder, with the GNR reporting the incident to the Public Ministry.
