The Municipality of Serpa supports the Local Health Unit of Baixo Alentejo in the vaccination plan that advances in the municipality.
A meeting took place between the Municipality of Serpa, represented by Tomé Pires, Mayor, and the Baixo Alentejo Local Health Unit (ULSBA), represented by Conceição Margalha, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
On the table was the vaccination plan in the municipality of Serpa.
For now, first doses of Covid vaccine were administered 19 in all residential structures for the elderly in the municipality, vaccination for people over the age of 80 years and still with 50 or more years, carriers of chronic diseases. This vaccination phase will include about 2 000 people.
The Municipality will support the entire logistical operation associated with the vaccination campaign. Remember that the vaccination operation is the responsibility of ULSBA, being that it is this entity that will contact the users to vaccinate.
