Serpa: Application for the Technology Center Agrifood Alentejo.
Application submitted about 2 million for the creation of the Technological Center of Agrifood Alentejo, Serpa.
Serpa municipality presented the Alentejo 2020 the application for the creation of the Technological Center of Agrifood Alentejo (Cetaa), a total investment of 1 998 563,39 euros.
This infrastructure will be located in the Industrial Area of ​​Serpa and aims to stimulate and support applied research activities, technological and business innovation development along the row extended the agrifood sector, and develop technological and management support valences SME sector, promote technical and technological training and specialized services.
They are founding members of CETAA the Municipality of Serpa, Polytechnic Institute of Beja, NERB РCorporate core of the Beja region, Defense Association Heritage of M̩rtola, Biodamasco РBiological Producer Group, Dairy Eira da Vila, dairy Guilherme, Hill Chapel - Agricultural and Commercial Society and Railing Green company.
They are involved in this project over 100 entities, between companies, authorities and institutions, sites, regional and national, highlighting the support of the University of Évora, the CEBAL and NERE – Business Center of Évora region and several municipalities and companies in the agri-food sector in Portugal and Spain.
Always with the idea of ​​innovation in the agri-food on the horizon, the CETAA will serve as an incubator industry in the research area, presenting as an asset critical to strengthening the global competitiveness of companies in the sector, to create jobs and wealth and sustainable development of the region.
