Serpa: Mint had dedicated currency to sing Alentejo.
Coin dedicated to Sing Alentejo was yesterday presented in the House of Sing in Serpa.
The coin dedicated to Sing Alentejo, which integrates the series of commemorative coins alluding to the collection Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the National Press Mint (INCM), it was yesterday, 10 June, Dia de Portugal, presented in Sing House, Serpa.
This coin is by the sculptor João Duarte, author of several coins and medals produced by INCM, awarded in 2011 with J Award. Sanford Saltus by the American Numismatic Society, considered the "Nobel" of
medalistics.
Besides the author, the session also has the presence of José Pires, Mayor of Serpa, e de Rui Carp, Chairman of the Board of Directors of INCM.
