Serpa / Mértola: XVII Agricultural Fair Well Valley Border.
Well Valley welcomes us days 13, 14 and 15 September the seventeenth edition of the Agricultural Fair Transfrontier, presenting a poster filled with activities.
Featured will be informational sessions for farmers, namely the presentation of the Family Agriculture Statute, in charge of the National Confederation of Agriculture (CNA), on 14, by 11.00 hours, and a session on "Hemp – Sustainable Culture for the region ", the hands of Hugo Monteiro, the Lusicanna - Agricultural Cooperative Hemp Producers Portugal, a ter lugar no dia 13, by 17.30 hours.
It will be held also a workshop Distillation of essential oils produced organically, Vitor ores and Fernando Garcia, by D'Alenguadiana, on 14, by 16.00 hours.
One of the attractions of this year is to hold an equestrian ride, on Saturday 14, by 8.00 hours, and an equestrian gala, on the same day, to 21.30 hours, in charge of the Equestrian Section F.C. Vale de Vargo.
No Sunday, the photography lovers have the opportunity to participate in workshop nature photography, spurred by Pedro Martins.
Is confirmed the presence of thirty exhibitors of food products, cheese, wine, filled, olive oil, traditional pastries and crafts, and pubs with regional cuisine.
The Agricultural Fair Transfrontier allows join, in the center of Serpa saw, producers, local and visiting populations linked to the rural world and promote the various potentialities of this territory, especially in the agricultural aspects, forester, forestry and animal husbandry. This edition is organized by the Municipality of Serpa, with the support of the Municipality of Mértola, Parishes union Salvador and Santa Maria (Serpa), Santana Parish Council of Cambas (Mértola) and Serpa County Farmers Association.
