Sines: PSA received in Terminal XXI the largest container ships in the world
A PSA Sines, concessionaire of the Sines Port Container Terminal, operated, the largest container ships in the world, o MSC ZOE.
The port of Sines was the national port chosen to join the inaugural route of the MSC ZOE, twin brother of Oscar MSC and MSC Oliver.
With a capacity of 19 220 TEU, and dimensions of the order of 395,4 meters in length and 59 meters wide, MSC ZOE was baptized this month, in Hamburg and is the third ship of the six who will join the “Classe Oscar” da MSC.
This giant of the seas SWAN integrates the service of MSC, between Asia and northern Europe and is in Terminal XXI, managed by PSA Sines, their first stop in Portugal.
It is expected to perform 1500 movements (3000 YOUR) load through the use of 4 Latest Pier cranes capable of operating in 23 “rows” (rows) a vessel that has these characteristics.
