Mina de São Domingos: Flying the Blue Flag at Albufeira da Tapada Grande Beach.
The beach of Albufeira da Tapada Grande, na Mina de S. Sundays, once again received the most important quality award for a bathing area, what already happens there 12 year old.
Blue flag: District of Beja 14 beaches distinguished with the award for 2023.
The municipality of Odemira with 12 beach and those of Beja and Mértola with one each, are the three municipalities in the district with the Blue Flag of 432 bathing areas this season, one more than in 2022.
Beja: Cinco Réis Beach awarded the Blue Flag.
In addition to the Bejense River Park, the Tapada Grande de Mina de São Domingos was also recognized (Mértola) and twelve beaches in the municipality of Odemira.
Blue flag: Albufeira da Tapada Grande beach receives International Certificate.
The Municipality of Mértola received the International Certificate of 10 Years of Praia da Albufeira da Tapada Grande by Mrs.. Lesley Jones Presidente da FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education).
Odemira: The municipality has twelve Blue Flag beaches and seven Gold Quality.
In 2021 the municipality of Odemira has 12 Blue Flag beaches, the symbol of quality and excellence, assigned by ABAE - Association of European Blue Flag.
