Castro Verde: Basic ER (SUB) no doctors.
The Local Health Unit of the Lower Alentejo (ULSBA) issued a statement stating that the Basic Emergency Service (SUB) de Castro Verde will be closed on Monday due to lack of doctors.
Beja: Tried to kill coworker after argument.
A man of 40 years stabbed a workmate with whom he lived in a house in Beja. The aggressor was arrested by the PJ. The victim, of 41 year old, remains hospitalized with poor prognosis.
Hospital de Beja: Obstetric/Gynecological emergency closed until tomorrow.
Closing happens because “there is only one doctor assigned” for this service, so the scale is not complete.

The Users Commission of Beja called for tomorrow afternoon, 28 July, a concentration in defense of the National Health Service.

The Gynecology/Obstetrics Emergency Department at Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes, in Beja has been closed since yesterday afternoon and only reopens on Sunday, a partir the 08:00, due to the lack of specialist doctors.
