The Municipality of Ourique offers all children the years of the 1st cycle of basic education (1º,2º, 3Rd and 4th year) textbooks and other teaching manuals necessary for learning (books and records supporting books).

All children attending the first cycle of Mértola county schools will receive free textbooks, an offer of the City Council. The municipal investment exceeds eight thousand five hundred euro.
